After an unknown apocalypse, instead of continents only few dozens of little islands were left, surrounded by one big unexplored and mysterious ocean. New human bodies - fragile, vulnerable, but very “human-like” - are created with a liquid life matter primitiva, which, according to the legend, came from the ocean.A wave brings an amnesiac girl Lily to the shore of a small and carefree island called “Radius 9”. She meets a group of students, who are going to an expedition to find a source of lacuna - a virus harming soil local and plants, and joins them in a journey, hoping to find her home island.

Lily

A teenage castaway girl who suffers from amnesia. She was brought to a local hospital, but she quickly ran away and joined a group of friends from a local university. Lily is a very lively and cheerful child, and she always ready to face any challenges - and never loses hope of finding her home.

Noah

One of the best students of the local university, geology major. He sets off to the journey because he plans to write a thesis about lacuna, but there are some other reasons for this, which he prefers to keep to himself. Geology is the only thing Noah passionately speaks about, and he seems to be a quite reserved person.

Shui

Majors in information technologies. Shui’s body consists of an unsolid
primitiva, which caused his chronic disease. In spite of this, this condition allows him to modify his body harmlessly- and his body modifications help him both to prevent his fatigues and to code faster. He’s quite mischievous and sly, but he's always ready to help his friends.

Mani

Majors in biology. Mani was evacuated to “Radius 9” after so-called “biological catastrophe” in his home island . He went through many things - probably, that’s why he’s always quite nervous, but in spite of his anxiety, he always remains positive! According to his philosophy, kindness and positivity can treat any disease.

Nicole

Medicine student, comes from a family of famous doctors. Nicole had an experience with lacuna when she was a kid, which, according to her theory, caused her skin disease. This accident moved her to study lacuna impact on other people’s health. Nicole is being too responsible - and she may also appear as grumpy, - but very organized and determined too.
